The 1990s

1996

While still in high school, Jon Robert Quinn began his music journey under his birth name, Rob Jones, writing and producing songs that were released on cassette and sold to classmates and a local music store in Vacaville, California.

1998

While taking a computer science class in high school, Jon Robert Quinn launched his website design business, which he continues to operate to this day.

1999

The stage name Jon Robert Quinn is born, combining ‘Jon’ from Jones, his given name ‘Robert,’ and his family name, Quinn.

The 2000s

2000

Jon Robert Quinn takes his first crack at business launching an online cellular phone business failing it a year later.

2001

Jon Robert Quinn’s first release, New Faces, was distributed on CD to friends, family, and a select group of music stores.

2004

The first official release of Jon Robert Quinn music, Solo-Fisticated was released to Tower Records stores and online retailers. Many albums would soon follow with releases in 2005, 2006 and so on still to this day.

2005

Jon Robert Quinn launched his first print publication, JeRQ THIS Magazine, showcasing local Sacramento-area musicians and distributed in music stores across the region.

2006

Jon Robert Quinn took his second crack at business launching his motorcycle business which he ran for 18 years until early 2025 so focus on Impact & Influence Magazine.

2007

Jon Robert Quinn founded Northern California Ferrari Specialists, a high-end Ferrari parts brokerage that earned media attention and attracted clients including celebrities and global industry leaders, operating successfully until the market crash in 2011.


The 2010s

2010

As Jon Robert Quinn’s motorcycle and Ferrari businesses flourished, he expanded into retail with a striking flagship location at Sunrise Mall in Citrus Heights, California.

2012

Due to global market conditions, Jon Robert Quinn closed his online and retail businesses and joined Paramount Equity Mortgage under Hayes Barnard, where he became the company’s #1 sales agent, holding this role until his radio deal in 2015.

2013

Awepra was launched, providing search, shopping, and the foundation for the platform seen today. In the same period, Jon Robert Quinn released his latest album, 1982, on CD and digital streaming platforms.

2015

Jon Robert Quinn launched The Good Life Radio Show on Sacramento’s Money 105.5 FM, featuring business owners and industry leaders on the airwaves five nights a week.

2016

The Good Life Radio Show was voted #1 FM radio in Sacramento. His award-winning show then expanded to the Seattle, Denver, Miami, and Sacramento markets.

2017

Jon Robert Quinn began his writing career as a contributor to Village Life Newspaper in El Dorado Hills, California, where he authored a weekly business column.

2018

Jon Robert Quinn launched The Cold Call King book series, marking the start of a prolific writing career with over 40 books authored by him and an additional 35 ghostwritten for others.

The 2020s

2020

The COVID-19 pandemic reshaped the industry, closing studios and leaving many without work. Jon Robert Quinn shifted focus back to motorcycle accessories, revitalizing the business. He reopened the original motorcycle shop in its original location under the new name, Knuckleheads.

2021

While the world waited for life to return to normal, Jon Robert Quinn and a close friend conceived a bold idea over lunch: to make a movie. This marked the beginning of the High Rise film franchise. The first film, shot in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Sacramento region, was eventually picked up by Prime Video. Quinn also wrote and produced much of the film’s music.

2022

High Rise: Path to Nowhere, starring Charles D. Clark (Empire, House of Cards), was released, and the team immediately began work on High Rise 2: Nowhere to Run. Since then, a new installment has been released each year, culminating with High Rise 5: Prosperity to Power in January 2026.

2023

Jon Robert Quinn continued his film career starring in The Stalker: Part 2 alongside Troy Fromin (Saved by the Bell), filmed in Snellville, Georgia. The film is now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.

2024

Joseph R. Gannascoli (The Sopranos) joined the High Rise franchise as mob boss Joey Vernicci in High Rise 4: Peril to Prosperity, marking the first A-list actor to be part of the series.

2025

In January 2025, Jon Robert Quinn launched Impact & Influence Magazine, available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble, showcasing business leaders and professionals while integrating it with his iHeart radio show. In conjunction with the magazine, Awepra was relaunched after nearly a decade, with Quinn leveraging his coding expertise to create AwepraAI (Adaptive Intelligence)—a groundbreaking tool designed to help users think critically, explore ideas, and process complex decisions. The platform also features search, shopping, and AwepraTV, streaming the High Rise films as original content alongside classic TV and movies. By year-end, the magazine had quickly grown to over 35,000 subscribers.

2026

AwepraQ is Jon Robert Quinn’s bold vision for a distraction-free smartphone that restores focus, clarity, and purpose to modern communication. Drawing on his early experience in the cell phone business in 2001, Quinn is leading extensive research and development to create a device with a crisp black-and-white display, a tactile QWERTY keyboard, and secure, productivity-first 5G connectivity. This pioneering platform will take meticulous engineering to bring to life, with production and release targeted for 2027.
