WHERE DO I START?

“I don't really know how to use Awepra.”

That's probably easier to fix than you think.

Awepra isn't something you're supposed to sit down and figure out before you can use it.

It's a community.

And the best way to understand a community is to participate in it.

You don't need to know every page, feature or opportunity.

Just start with a few things.

START WITH THE CALENDAR

Look at what's coming up.

There are more than 200 events a year across the Awepra community — from weekly gatherings and monthly Open Houses to Masterclasses and special experiences.

You don't have to attend everything.

Find one thing you want to attend.

Then show up.

GET INTO THE DIRECTORY

The directory may be one of the most valuable parts of the platform.

There are currently more than 60 members in the community.

Take a look.

See who they are. See what they do. Find someone you've never met.

Then reach out.

Better yet, schedule a one-on-one.

If you sat down with one different member every working day, you'd have approximately three months of conversationswaiting for you.

That's not simply a website feature.

That's three months of potential relationships.

COME TO AN EVENT

Start with Cocktails with the CEOs.

It's a weekly opportunity to step away from the office, meet people and have an actual conversation.

Or come to one of our monthly Open House events.

Attend a Masterclass.

You don't need a strategy complicated enough to require a spreadsheet.

Just come.

USE THE MAGAZINE

Impact & Influence Magazine isn't just something to read.

Pay attention to the people you're reading about.

If someone interests you, find them in the community.

If someone could be a good connection, reach out.

If you have something worth sharing, look into becoming an Editorial Contributor.

The magazine can introduce you to people you might never have encountered otherwise.

LISTEN TO THE RADIO

Impact & Influence Radio gives you another way to hear from entrepreneurs, business owners and people doing interesting things.

Listen while you're driving.

Listen while you're working.

Learn something.

And when you hear someone you want to know, look them up.

DON'T JUST CONSUME.

This may be the biggest difference between people who get something from Awepra and people who don't.

One person reads the magazine.

Another reads it and reaches out to someone featured in it.

One person attends an event.

Another attends and follows up with three people.

One person looks at the directory.

Another uses it to schedule a meeting.

Same platform. Completely different experience.

START HERE.

If you're new to Awepra, don't try to do everything at once.

This month:

Look at the calendar.

Attend one event.

Look through the directory.

Meet one member one-on-one.

Read the magazine.

Listen to an episode of Impact & Influence Radio.

That's enough.

Then do it again next month.

Awepra isn't something you need to learn before you can use it.

It's something you learn by using it.

The platform can open the door.

What happens after you walk through it is up to you.
