Monterey Car Week | August 13 & 14

Once each year, the world's most influential collectors, automotive executives, designers, investors, and enthusiasts gather along California's Monterey Peninsula for one of the most prestigious automotive events on the planet—Monterey Car Week.

This is not simply a car show.

It is a global gathering where rare automobiles worth tens of millions of dollars change hands, where luxury brands unveil their newest creations, and where the worlds of wealth, craftsmanship, innovation, and legacy converge.

For Awepra Members, this is a private, invite-only experience designed to immerse you in that world.

Day One – Thursday, August 13

We begin before sunrise, departing El Dorado Hills at 5:00 AM and meeting additional members in Sacramento at 6:00 AM before heading south together. The drive itself becomes part of the experience as our group cruises the California coast en route to Monterey.

By late morning, we arrive at the world-famous Pebble Beach Golf Links for lunch overlooking one of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes in America.

Following lunch, we enter the high-stakes world of the Gooding & Christie's Pebble Beach Auctions, where collectors from around the globe compete for some of the rarest and most historically significant automobiles ever produced. Last year alone, more than $128 million in vehicles crossed the auction block during the event.

From there, we explore the manufacturer displays and luxury showcases where brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, Cadillac, Porsche, Bentley, and others often unveil new concepts and flagship vehicles before the rest of the world sees them.

The afternoon continues into Carmel-by-the-Sea, where we stroll through the galleries, boutiques, and luxury retailers that have made Carmel one of California's most iconic destinations. Along the way, we'll visit prestigious watch boutiques featuring brands such as Rolex and Patek Philippe.

As the day winds down, we'll cruise through Pacific Grove and Cannery Row before making our way to Hayes Mansion in San Jose for an overnight stay.

Members are encouraged to reserve accommodations early, as room availability becomes limited during Monterey Car Week and rates typically increase as the event approaches.

Evening Stay – Hayes Mansion

Rather than rushing home after a full day, we'll continue the experience with an overnight stay at the historic Hayes Mansion in San Jose.

This gives members an opportunity to relax, network, enjoy dinner together, and prepare for an additional day of Monterey Car Week activities.

Day Two – Friday, August 14

Friday's itinerary will feature additional Monterey Car Week events, luxury showcases, and automotive experiences.

Specific activities are currently being finalized and will be announced as event schedules are released by participating manufacturers, auction houses, and organizers.

Members can expect another full day immersed in one of the most influential automotive gatherings in the world before returning home Friday evening.

Why This Matters

Monterey Car Week isn't really about cars.

It's about perspective.

It's about seeing what excellence looks like when it's pursued without compromise.

It's about surrounding yourself with individuals who operate at the highest levels of business, design, performance, and achievement.

It's about experiencing firsthand the environments where influence, wealth, innovation, and legacy intersect.

These are the moments that expand your vision, challenge your assumptions, and remind you that there is always another level available to those willing to pursue it.
